Most of you know by now that Jason Sandbach, frontman of several local bands including Forever Is Never has gone on to a better place.

I'm doing what I can from Austin to try and help out with his benefit show, which a lot of his friends are playing. The proceeds will go to Jason's daughter, Denali and his son, Sebastian who was born two days ago at 8:41am.

Please come out and show your support and pray for the family he left behind. He's watching over all he loved.

Pop Pistol will be embarking on a tour of Mexico within the next month. Before we leave you have a chance to catch us for FREE this Saturday, June 17th. The show is 21+ only I’m afraid and will be on the south side at Rick’s MVP Bar, 2432 Nogalitos Dr. We will be playing with another great band, The Y Equals. More details are in the SHOWS section of the message board. Our return show will be on July 20th. Westbound Departure is our May band of the month. The band is releasing their full length CD this month. Josh from The Teliskas did the producing and the CD sounds pretty good and jammin. More details on their CD release when available.
